I’ve been working as a consultant on the side for a while now. Specifically, I focus on brand marketing and social media strategy. Since I’ve taken Girl Meets Party full-time and streamlined its services, consulting has taken a larger role.
How do I define consulting?
I view consulting as a pop-in team member. To me, a consultant is a freelance friend with a unique set of skills you or your business is missing. They’re an expert and a trusted advocate on your team. A consultant is also someone you can call on anytime your business needs a fresh set of eyes.
What do I offer that’s different than the rest?
I specialize in brand marketing & social media strategy. Also, I have a super unique set of skills because I worked in corporate brand marketing for 10 years and I’ve built my own blog & social media account as an influencer. I understand the business from both sides, which makes me uniquely positioned to step into a business, assess the business and tailor an appropriate game plan.
Aside from my business background, my personal skillset makes me an ideal team player. I’m a strong listener, highly efficient and uber focused. As a goal-oriented leader, I’m dedicated to tight KPIs and timelines.
Who are my clients?
Good question! In short, a variety of people. I work with small business owners that range from just starting out to in business for 25+ years. When I work with corporations, it’s all about sharing intel on how to work with influencers.
Why am I offering consulting services?
It has been a natural transition. When I started 3 years ago, I was hyper-focused on one business need. For me, it didn’t work. It was too myopic. So, I let go and started with the blog, which then grew into event planning. I’ve been fortunate to grow Girl Meets Party as an influencer as well so I can work with brands again. Now that I’m no longer with a corporation, I can work with any brand that fits my vision.
Our realtor reached out for help on her instagram page a while ago. Working on her business made me realize I love consulting. I really enjoy stepping into a business, coming up with creative ideas and brainstorming a way to seamlessly bring them to life. That project led to another. And then another. And then another, and here we are!
How can we work together?
Very easily, actually! I have all of the details on my services page. If you’re a small business owner, I can refresh your branding visually and from a communications perspective. If you haven’t dug into social media yet, now’s the time! It’s only getting more popular. My job is to make you a little uncomfortable for optimal impact. I’ll design a strategy for you that’s on brand, feasible to execute and relevant to your consumers.
If you’re a corporation, let’s chat influencers! Influencers are the new way to market to your consumers and the category is still very much uncharted waters. As a previous corporate marketer, I clearly understand the trials and tribulations of an established brand. However, I’m unique in that I also understand how to approach a problem as an influencer. Contact me to train your team or develop an influencer strategy for your business. So what do you say?
