Chicago Williams Sonoma Wedding Registry Event

Girl Meets Party partnered with Williams Sonoma in Lincoln Park for a dreamy wedding registry event on a snowy night in February.  The wedding registry event at Williams Sonoma Lincoln Park was a fairy godmother-esque godsend to the brides-to-be.

With hands-on assistance, it was exceptionally helpful to those who may err on the side of procrastination.   [Granted, it can be a daunting task!] The event was prime for the newly (or long-time) engaged couple on the hunt for a starting place to embark on their wedding plans.

Featured Vendors

The hour-long party had everything placed just so on a (literal) silver platter for guests.  From the adorable and scrumptious Hors d’oeuvres from Salvatore’s Chicago to the yummy cupcakes from Sweet Mandy B’s, there was food a plenty.  Also in attendance was standout bridal stylist Patrick Niles of Le Mode Bridal and invitation designers from Paper Source.  Chicago wedding photographer, Caitlin of Caitlin Lisa Photography captured all of the evening’s beauty, but the star of the show?  Three carefully crafted tables complete with Williams Sonoma dinnerware collections and linens. Distinctive, softly-hued floral arrangements by Dilly Lily pulled everything together at the center of each buttoned-up display. Each table demonstrated the flexibility of a formal or casual event.  Tables showed a style that could be set for a bridal shower brunch on one side and transitioned to casual dinner parties on the other.

Couples were encouraged to nibble on tiny foods, mingle, and meet with vendors with their pending questions. The veteran team was ready for them, according to Alexandria Kennedy from Paper Source. “Most brides we see have looked at invitations online and have an idea of what they like, but often don’t have a specific idea, or want to make changes to a design they see, but aren’t certain [we can execute]. Luckily, we have the resources that the answer is almost always ‘yes!’ We can accommodate by submitting custom artwork, working with our different vendors or helping a couple to DIY.”

Massive thanks to the people and businesses who made the event such a success:
